Fund a Learner is built on trust. Misuse of the Service hurts the students who depend on it. This policy describes how we prevent, detect, and respond to fraud.
Pre-launch review
Every campaign is reviewed by a Fund a Learner team member before going live. We verify enrollment, supporting documents, and the consistency of the story.
Fraud signals
We flag campaigns that exhibit unusual goal amounts, missing documents, multiple submissions from the same source, or mismatched school information.
Reporting
Anyone can report a campaign via the Report link on the campaign page or by emailing hello@fundalearner.com. Reports are reviewed within 24-48 hours.
Enforcement
Confirmed fraud results in campaign removal, account suspension, refund of donations where possible, and referral to law enforcement when warranted.
