Welcome to Fund a Learner. By accessing or using fundalearner.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
Fund a Learner is intended for currently enrolled students at accredited post-secondary institutions in the United States, and for donors who wish to support those students. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. Campaigns
Students agree to provide accurate enrollment information and to use funds only for the purposes disclosed on their campaign page. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal, refund of donations, and referral to authorities where appropriate.
3. Donations
Donations are personal gifts to individual students and are not tax-deductible. Fund a Learner deducts a platform fee plus payment processing fees from each donation. See our refund policy for details on cancellations and disputes.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to engage in fraud, harassment, impersonation, money laundering, or any activity prohibited by law. We reserve the right to remove any campaign or account that violates these terms.
5. Notices & disputes
Notices to Fund a Learner under these terms should be sent to hello@fundalearner.com. Disputes will first be addressed informally by contacting that address; unresolved disputes will be handled per applicable law.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or on this page.
